Yes! It is possible to have a thriving marriage and a thriving business, as well as, being healthy, strong and enjoying your children if you have them. This is what my bride I call
“a Marriage of Greatness. ”
Many entrepreneurs are already doing this, with more joining the Marriage of Greatness movement each and every day. You may be wondering why you have never heard of this, simple, bad news sells. Think about it, the bottom scroll on CNN is always a “Crisis” or something negative and alarming, if it wasn’t, people wouldn’t pay attention. If your reading this, then I know you want to focus on the good news and how to have greatness in every area of your life, so let’s get into it.
Now that you know it is possible and others are doing it, the next step is rejecting the “balance lie” that entrepreneurs have been fed for far to long. The simple truth is, there is no such thing as finding work life balance for an entrepreneur. Are you frustrated and exhausted looking for something that doesn’t exist? So what does exist? HARMONY does, you get to be the composer and the conductor of bringing your music to life. Depending on the season you are in, for example a start up business with small kids or a mature business with teenagers, will dictate the type of music you need to write. Also remember, when you stand up to compose your music, you have to turn your back to the world. It doesn’t matter what other entrepreneurs are doing, they are not you! Be free and write your own harmony. My bride and I’s harmony will sound and look different that yours, and that’s ok. Write the music you want to live by. As the seasons of life and business change, so will your music.
First things first, let’s get started on writing your first hit song that you and your family will love. Ask yourself what changes do I need to make to be a better husband, father and business owner.
